The Nepali Garden 2.
Do go down to the waterside to explore it, but take care as the
paths too are authentically Nepali.
There's a little water-driven prayer wheel among the primulas,
and the local lama has contributed the mani stone bearing the
traditional Om mani padme hum mantra.
It's still work in progress, but it's beginning to come together.
Everything, from the clearing of brushwood and brambles to the
finished planting has been done using only the traditional Nepali
tools of kukri and hoe.
And it's useful to have a gardener who's as sure-footed as a
mountain goat on such a steep site.
