The hidden treasure in the hills
in the last fifteen years, we have created our new garden within
the skeleton of this old garden BBC TV Gardener's World, Channel
4 Garden Club and the Channel 4 BLOOM series all found their way
to Craigieburn, as well as the international magazine GARDENS
ILLUSTRATED and the London SUNDAY TIMES.
Like other visitors, they found the garden a delicious surprise,
a contrast to the wild hills, but also in harmony with them. The
garden occupies a spectacularly beautiful site. Nestling in the
lea of Hunterheck Hill, it faces south-west surrounded by ancient
woodland.
The fast flowing stream called the Craigieburn tumbles through
a string of steep waterfalls and meanders round the perimeter
of the garden in a deep gorge.
